What Sets This Apart
Formation, not just coaching
Formation is coaching with a destination. We explore, and we build toward faithful leadership.
Grounded in frontline reality
One arm of the Renewal Ecosystem, which also includes The Renewal Initiative, working with frontline leaders in crisis contexts.
Depth before scale
High-trust, high-touch. Leaders we work with are not being fit into a cohort. They are being formed.
Why This Work Matters
Formation is not a theory. The evidence is decades deep, and it points in one direction.
Training transfers skill. Formation shapes the person. The numbers below explain the difference.
The annual cost of disengagement, worldwide.
Roughly nine percent of global GDP, lost every year to people showing up to work without ever being led well.
Of the variance in team engagement traces back to one person.
Not the strategy. Not the salary. Not the perks. The manager. Form the leader, and you change the team.
Productivity gain when training is paired with coaching.
Training alone lifts productivity by 22 percent. Add coaching and that figure rises to 88. Formation is the multiplier.
Bad leadership is the largest preventable cost in the global economy. Coaching is the most documented intervention against it, with a measured return of five to seven times its cost.

Faithful Leadership
Alignment over time
under pressure.
Faithful leadership is not a personality type, a religious veneer, or a leadership style. It is the kind of leadership that can be trusted over a decade.
Alignment with conviction, not with trends. Anchoring in character, not in performance. Consistency over time, not intensity in the moment. Endurance under pressure, not burnout or compromise.
The leaders we work with are not short on content. They are short on alignment, capacity, and endurance.
The Three Movements
Formation moves through
three reinforcing arcs.
01
Align
Establishes the foundation. Identity, calling, values, voice. Internal clarity before external effectiveness.
See Tier 102
Form
Shapes character and builds real capacity through lived experience. Formation over information, not instead of skill.
03
Strengthen
Sustains leaders for the long arc. Emotional, spiritual, and relational resilience. Endurance over speed.
Who This Is For
Leaders whose work matters
and whose environments are
complex.
Faith-Informed Leaders
Carrying organizations, congregations, or movements through seasons that test conviction and capacity.
Faith is not an afterthought. It is the foundation. Formation that addresses the whole leader, not just their professional role.
Nonprofit Executives
Leading mission-driven work where stakes are high, resources constrained, and performance alone will not sustain the team.
The gap is rarely strategic. It is alignment, endurance, and the capacity to carry others without losing yourself in the process.
Leaders in Complex Environments
Founders, operators, and senior leaders who need formation not available from boards, peers, or corporate learning budgets.
The environments that demand the most from leaders are the ones least served by conventional coaching. Formation built for complexity, not optimized for comfort.
Across all three, the common thread is this: the leader already has capability. What they need is alignment, depth, and durability.
How We Work
High-trust.
High-touch.
Formational.
Renewal Leadership is built around what formation requires, not necessarily what scales easily. Depth, trust, and time come first. The structure of the work follows.
Engagements are structured, not open-ended. Pricing is tiered and defined. The work is disciplined, and we protect the conditions that make formation possible.
Align Intensive
A focused, multi-day engagement built to establish the foundation. Identity, calling, values, voice. For leaders who need to reset, realign, or prepare for a significant transition. Individual or small group, virtual or in-person.
Explore the Align IntensiveFormation Engagement
Structured one-on-one coaching across a three-to-six month season, anchored in the three movements. For leaders with directional clarity who need character and capacity formed together. Also available as a team cohort program.
Strengthening Partnership
A long-arc, retained relationship for leaders and organizations who need embedded presence for sustainability, resilience, and the long work of culture. Monthly presence, executive access, staff care, crisis availability, and quarterly organizational health reviews. Structured around two expressions, shaped by the client’s context:
For founder-led, values-rich, or faith-forward organizations where pastoral presence and spiritual grounding are explicit parts of the scope.
For corporate and mixed-culture leaders and organizations who want the same retained, high-touch posture without explicit spiritual framing. Leadership, culture, and strategic clarity for the long arc.
